Davis County Fair

Hello CheerKat Parents!

We have been invited to perform at the Davis County Fair, Friday, August 16^th from 5:15 to 5:45!  This is going to be another great opportunity for our cheerleaders to perform in front of an audience.  We hope everyone will join us for this performance. 

Cheerleaders need to be to the fairgrounds by 4:30 PM.  Please have them ready to go in their practice uniforms, hair in high pony with optional make-up (much like we did for the recitals).  We will meet by the stage area of the fair.  Please contact Nicole or Katrina if you are not able to locate our group.

Parking is $5.00 at each parking entrance.  You can receive $2.00 off of the parking fee, by participating in the Family Connection Center of Davis County Food Drive presented by Chevron by donating two non-perishable food items.  These items will be taken by the parking attendant when you enter either parking entrance.  Go to http://www.familyconnection4u.org/ to find a list of the items they need most.  The Fairgrounds are located at 151 South 1100 West in Farmington, UT (just south of Farmington Station on Park Lane [1100 W]).

Camp is finally here!!!

For the month of July we will be holding cheer camp for all teams.  We will not be holding regular practices.  Here are the dates for camp:

Mini 2: July 9^th, 10^th, 11^th: 9:00 AM to 12:30 PM

Jr 2: July 15^th, 16^th, 17^th:  8:00 AM to 12:30 PM

Youth 3: July 15^th, 16^th, 17^th: 12:00 to 4:30 PM

Sr 4.2:  July 15^th, 16^th, 17^th: 8:00 AM to 12:30 PM

Sr4: July 12th, 13th, 15th, and 16th. 

Camp is going to be a blast!  Cheerleaders will be learning their competition routine and we will be practicing the skills and technique they need to be successful come competition season. 

July is a great month to get some extra tumbling classes in.  

Remember, our all-star cheerleaders can take a second class for only $25 a month. 

Cheer Kats! Come sleep over with us and help decorate our float for the parade!

All locations will be in the Kaysville 4th of July parade this year!! *We will not be in this weekends parade in Syracuse.

Kaysville Parade

Hello CheerKat Parents!

We are so excited for the Kaysville Parade, July 4^th!

Everyone is invited to participate in the parade and we hope you all will join us!

The parade starts at 11:00 AM and all participants need to be there by 10:00 AM. 

The drop off zone is at the LDS Meeting house on the corner of 250 South 600 East.  From there you will need to walk south and find CheerKats/TumbleKats. 

We are looking for a few parents to volunteer and help us with the parade.  Please let us know ASAP if you are able to.  We are also looking for students to bring a bag of small wrapped candy to throw out during the parade.  This is 100% optional and in no way mandatory.   

All participants need to come in their TumbleKats/CheerKats gear or any pink, purple and silver clothing. 

All-Star CheerKats need to wear their practice uniform and bow.  Make up is optional.

Drop Off Zone: LDS Meetinghouse @ corner of 250 South 600 East

Pick Up Zone: Kaysville Elementary @ corner of 100 North 200 East

Up-Coming Events!!

Hello CheerKat Parents!

Just a few reminders and information regarding some upcoming events…

We will not be participating in the Syracuse parade this Saturday.  The past few years this parade moved very fast and we were not able to have our cheerleaders perform or show off their tricks.  Therefore we’ve decided against doing this parade. 

We will be participating in the Kaysville parade, Thursday, July 4^th.  The parade starts at 11:00 AM.  I will have more information regarding where to meet as soon as we receive it from Kaysville City.

Kaysville Recital tonight at Woods Cross High School!

We are so excited to watch our Kaysville CheerKats and tumblers perform at Woods Cross High tonight.  

Just a reminder all performers need to be to Woods Cross High school no later than 5:30pm. All Kaysville CheerKats teams will be performing tonight.  Please let Nicole know as soon as possible if you have difficulties getting to this event, as this is a team event and it is necessary for everyone to be there if possible.  

Youth Silvers and Senior Elite Silvers; you are also performing at Syracuse High School tomorrow night.  Please be there no later than 5:30pm.

Participating in Multiple Recitals

Hello again CheerKat Parents,

If your child has been requested to perform at multiple recitals, you will not be required to purchase recital tickets to each event.  We will provide complementary tickets for those preforming at the Syracuse and North Ridge recitals.  Please stop by the front desk to pick up your complementary tickets.  We have front desk help Monday through Friday from 3:00 to 6:00 PM.  If possible please stop in then.  

All performers need to be at the venue by 5:30. 

Senior Elite Silver (L4) will be preforming at the Syracuse and Kaysville recitals. 

Senior Silver (L4.2) will be preforming at the Layton and Kaysville recitals.

Youth Silver (L3) will be preforming at the Syracuse and Kaysville recitals.

Jr Silvers (L2) will be preforming at the Layton and Kaysville recitals. 

·         Kaysville’s recital is Thursday, June 20^th, 6:00 PM, at Woods Cross High School. 
·         Syracuse’s recital is Friday, June 21^st , 6:00 PM, at Syracuse High School.
·         Layton’s recital is Wednesday, June 19^th, 6:00 PM, at Northridge High School.

If you are not able to participate in our recitals please let your coach know. 

Recitals are a great opportunity for cheerleaders to get preforming together as a team and also experience preforming in front of an audience.
